Two WNY Restaurants Named In America’s Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants

Don't look now, but Valentine's Day is right around the corner, literally. It's less than one week away, and guys I know what you're thinking, "oh no, I haven't gotten anything yet."

Valentine's Day is one of those holidays you simply can't forget. Sometimes, it's just as simple as flowers and chocolates; other times, it's a date night at some fancy restaurant with expensive dishes and drinks.

When you imagine high-class restaurants and a fancy food scene, you likely picture cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and Denver. Buffalo, as much as we love it, probably isn't held in that same regard...but it should.

There are some amazing restaurants for Valentine's Day here, that really set that romantic mood. You just have to know where to go to find that romantic atmosphere.

Two Western New York restaurants made a top 100 list for most romantic restaurants.

OpenTable recently published their top 100 romantic restaurants in America for 2022, and two Buffalo-area restaurants made the cut. In fact, they were the only two which made the list in the State of New York.

Both Giancarlo's in Williamsville and Lucia's on the Lake in Hamburg made OpenTable's list for top 100 romantic restaurants.

Giancarlo's is located in Williamsville on Main Street and is top class in excellent cuisine. The Sicilian steakhouse has garnered a reputation for one of the best restaurants in the northtowns.

Lucia's on the Lake has only been around a few years, but they have quickly become a top destination for couples on a date night in Western New York. They're located on Lakeshore Road, near Hoak's and Rodney's, and offer a gorgeous view of Lake Erie, with fine dining.
