The Buffalo Sabres have an official goal song for the 2025-26 season, and let's hope that we will hear it a lot this year.

The Buffalo Sabres held an online poll over the past couple of weeks to select the song that will be played after every goal at home during the Blue and Gold games. Fans submitted thousands of songs, which were narrowed down to the final five, and finally, the song we hope to hear a lot this season.

"Kickstart My Heart" will only be used when the Sabres are not wearing Red and Black. The Sabres will still play "Song 2" by Blur after goals scored when the team is wearing the Red and Black "Goat Head" jerseys.

No One Heard The Goal Song In the Home Opener

Unfortunately, fans didn't have a chance to hear the goal song at the Sabres' home opener as they were shut out 4-0 by the New York Rangers.

The Sabres have the currently longest active playoff drought in the NHL, and many fans believe it won't end this season.
