Buffalo Sabres Closing In On New Team Record
This is not the news we Sabres fans wanted to hear today. The Buffalo Sabres remain the only team in the NHL not to win a road game so far this season. The Sabres are now 0-8 on the road for the season after losing to Utah last night. Watching this team play hockey has become very frustrating.
As for the Sabres, the team record for longest road losing streak is 12 games. That was set back during the 2011-12 season.
The Sabres are inching closer to that team record. They are back on the road tonight as they travel to Colorado to take on the Avalanche. Puck drop for the game tonight is 9 pm.
The Buffalo Sabres are in a familiar spot to start the season. They are currently in last place in the Atlantic Division. This season, they are 5-7-4 and have 14 points. They are currently on a 4-game losing streak.

This season, the Buffalo Sabres were hoping to snap the longest playoff drought in NHL history. It has been 14 seasons since the Buffalo Sabres played playoff hockey. They have missed the playoffs every season since the 2011-12 season.
