The NFL offseason can be a lot of fun for fans, especially between February-April, when NFL free agency and the NFL Draft take place.

The Buffalo Bills have made the playoff three straight times, but they obviously want to make sure they finally accomplish their ultimate goal of reaching and winning the Super Bowl, behind Josh Allen at quarterback.

The Bills have a lot of pending unrestricted free agents, including cornerback Levi Wallace, defensive tackles Harrison Phillips and Justin Zimmer, edge rusher Jerry Hughes, wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie, quarterback Mitch Trubisky, and running backs Matt Breida and Taiwan Jones.

While the Bills most definitely have to improve their depth on the offensive line and in the secondary this spring, they also could use help at wide receiver.

Sanders and McKenzie might not be back, and Cole Beasley will be 34 next season, and may have showed his age in 2021. Jake Kumerow is also a pending UFA.

If you take away Beasley, who could be a cap casualty, the Bills only have Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis as wide receivers on the active roster; and with the way Buffalo plays on offense, they need all the weapons they can get at WR.

Could the Bills be a potential landing spot for Atlanta Falcons star wide receiver, Calvin Ridley?

Ridley missed much of 2021 for mental health reasons, and the 27-year-old has one year remaining on his entry-level contract.

Falcons owner Arthur Blank spoke on Ridley's situation, and implied that there's a very real possibility he doesn't want to be back in Atlanta for 2022.

There's still so much uncertainty with Ridley's personal situation, but if the Bills decide they want to purse him in a trade, and Ridley is ready to be back in 2022, then that would be an amazing get for the Bills offense.

The problem is Ridley will carry a cap hit of $11 million next season, and the Bills would have to release players and probably restructure contracts to fit him under the salary cap.

Ridley caught 90 passes for over 1,300 yards and 9 touchdowns in 2020, and is regarded as one of the best talents at WR in the NFL.

The Bills need to address wide receiver. The offense hasn't been the problem, especially the passing game, but you have to keep up with the thing you do best, and for Buffalo, that's throwing.

They will have to bring in wide receivers, either through free agency, the draft, or through a trade. The question is, who?
