If you could only have one best friend in the entire world, who would it be? Maybe it’s a weird question, but as I recently watched the movie “Grown Ups,” my answer became very clear: Adam Sandler.

Adam Sandler seems like the most loyal guy in the world. He’s constantly giving his friends roles in his movies. I still don’t know the names of these actors, but there they are in every one of his movies. Sure, they’re mainly small roles, but it’s the only work I’ve ever seen them in.

If that’s not enough, if you’re a bigger star, like Kevin James or David Spade, you not only get supporting actor roles, but you also get gifts. I’m not talking about BFF necklaces. I’m talking about huge, pimp-daddy gifts. Like Maseratis. He gave each of the four other supporting actors in “Grown Ups” their own $200,000 car as a way to say thanks. Sure, this may be old news, but guess what? Every time I see “The Wedding Singer” run on TBS, I can’t help but want to make friends with this guy.

He seems like good people to me. And his movies are usually awesome.* “Little Nicky”, “Big Daddy”, “50 First Dates”? Classics.

Plus, who would Rob Schneider be without Adam Sandler?

* Keyword is usually. I, for one, didn’t find “Grown Ups” to be worth a Ford Focus, let alone a Maserati.
