Some closure came today for the family members of the victims of the City Grill shooting last August. In a 58-minute court session Erie County Judge Sheila A. DiTullio sentenced Riccardo M. McCray to the maximum sentence, life in prison.

The judge took time throughout the case to acknowledge the families of the victims of the horrible crime. The families also had a chance to speak on behalf of their deceased and wounded victims that can be viewed in this video compliments of the Buffalo News.

The pain and anguish that McCray caused so many people is immeasurable. McCray was calm in demeanor today and continued his claim that he was not the shooter. However it appears as though Judge  DiTullio took no credence to his plea.

Our hearts go out to the victims and their family members. Justice has been done and hopefully this will at least provide some closure for the victims and families, although most of them state that they will never have closure to this event.
