Governor Cuomo today at his press conference made a major announcement regarding gyms and salons in orange zones, which have been closed here in most of Erie County since the designation was put in place a couple of weeks ago.

According to WIVB, Cuomo says that gyms and salons in orange restriction zones can reopen at 25 percent capacity, along with continued testing.

Governor Cuomo also announced that 74 percent of current COVID-19 cases have been from households and small gatherings.

Healthcare delivery comes in at 7 percent of current COVID-19 cases, while restaurants and bars are just 1.43 percent. You can view the entire list here.

While indoor dining will not be allowed in New York City, a decision on indoor dining in orange zones elsewhere in the state will be made after looking at the data this weekend, according to Governor Cuomo. The governor also said that new zone designations will be coming next week as well. There are currently no red zones in the state.
