Soon you will have a chance to meet and greet with two of the top players from the Buffalo Bills. They will be part of the grand opening celebration of the new Dick's House of Sports location in Amherst.

Meet and Greet With James Cook and Dion Dawkins

Both Buffalo Bills stars will be back in Western New York on March 14th and 15th for the grand opening celebration of the new 100,000 square foot Dick's House of Sport. The new facility will feature a climbing wall and a multi-sport cage that can be used for baseball, softball, lacrosse, and soccer games. Customers will also be able to use the facility to try out sports equipment before they buy it.

The facility will officially open on the 13th with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and then will have events and giveaways all weekend long.

Dion Dawkins will be at the meet and greet on March 14th from Noon until 1:30 pm, while James Cook will be there to meet with fans on the 15th from the same time.

No purchase is necessary to meet and greet the two Buffalo Bills players, but long lines are expected, so you might want to arrive early.

Work on the new Dick's House of Sport started back in May of 2025 and will be done in time for the grand opening weekend.

NFL Season Kicksoff On March 11th, 2026

It will be a busy week for Buffalo Bills fans this week. March 11th marks the start of the NFL season, and when teams can officially sign free agents and make trades.

This year, since the Bills have a new head coach, they will be able to hold their mandatory mini-camp earlier than other teams. That is expected to start on April 6th.
