Buffalo Bills Favorite to Trade for Superstar Wide Receiver

Another huge name in the NFL has asked for a trade, and the Buffalo Bills are already the favorite to land him.

With the NFL combine over and teams getting ready for the NFL Draft, now is the time when they will resign key players and trade others. In fact, players themselves demand trades this time of year. Teams can then use those players as pieces to acquire more draft picks.

One massive (literally and figuratively) name who has already demanded a trade is Cleveland Browns Superstar pass rusher Myles Garrett. The Browns don't want to trade him, but he is demanding out. The Bills are a rumored favorite to land him, though it will take a lot to do so.

However, as we found out today, that's not the only big name to demand a trade and have the Bills be a favorite to land him.

The Buffalo Bills are said to be a favorite for landing star wide receiver DK Metcalf.

Metcalf was rumored to want to move on from the Seattle Seahawks, but today, he made it to officials, as reported by Adam Schefter.

About DK Metcalf

Metcalf is a rare blend of size, speed,m and brutal strength. At 6'4'' and 235 pounds, he is, in many ways, built like a Tight End. However, he has Tyreek Hill-like speed, having run a blistering 4.33-second 40-yard dash at the 2019 NFL combine. He's been productive, with limited quarterback play, too. For his career, he has averaged around 1,100 a season and eight touchdowns per campaign. He also stays healthy, having only missed three games in his entire NFL career due to injury. One more positive is he is only 27 years old.

In terms of Metcalf's contract, he has 1 year left on his contract, which is for $18 Million. That's actually not a bad number for a receiver of his stature. He is an unrestricted free agent in 2026, so the Bills would likely want to sign him to a new deal.

If Brandon Beane can pull off a trade to bring Metcalf to Buffalo, it would be a dream come true for the Bills and Quarterback Josh Allen.
