Elton John in Rochester

Buffalo will get passed over on Elton John's new tour, but you won't have to drive far to see the legend. He'll be at Rochester's Blue Cross Arena on April 23. It's been a busy few months for John, who became a father with a Christmas baby, and this week called out his close friend Billy Joel in Rolling Stone Magazine, saying he needed "tough love" to finally kick the boos. John and Joel had to reschedule several Buffalo shows last year due to what was described simply as an "illness". John claims it was an illness called by Joel's alcohol problem, and that Joel never seriously tried to kick the habit. Good news is that Elton has been drug free for years and his show in Rochester should go off without a hitch. Tickets go on sale Saturday, February 13 at 10 am. Win tickets from Jack FM here.
