The Buffalo Bills held the second open practice of training camp at Highmark Stadium on Saturday morning in Orchard Park and other than the fact it was just a practice and score wasn't kept, it felt like a Bills home gameday for fans in attendance.

The majority of the lower bowl at Highmark Stadium was full and many were seated before the team took the field. 18,000 fans were in attendance, according to the Bills.

It was clearly a family-friendly atmosphere, as there were many kids in the stands and with the lack of importance on what was going on with the action (outside of the Bills players an coaching staff), this was most definitely an event that is perfect for families looking to watch the Bills in action.

Midway through practice, the wave was started in the tunnel end-zone and it was great to see fans having fun again in the stands. It was the second straight open practice that the wave made an appearance.

The fact that over 15,000 fans, for two consecutive Saturdays, decided to attend a practice at 10 am, says a lot by how starved they are to get back in the swing of going back to the stadium and just reliving the gameday experience, which was missed all of last season, except for the few fans who went to the two playoff games against the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens.

There's one more open practice left -- Wednesday, September 1st at Highmark Stadium. Before that, however, there will be a home preseason game on Saturday, August 28th against the Green Bay Packers.

The first preseason game will be this upcoming Friday at the Detroit Lions.
