It's the first weekend of February, and while a lot of Valentines-day-friendly events are next weekend, there are some fun things to do this weekend in Western New York!

If you're big into cars, you are in luck, because the Auto Show is in full swing this weekend. Plus, the gals are throwing a few Galentine's Day events.

Some people have asked...is Galentine's Day a real thing? The answer is YES.

It started back in 2010 in the iconic television show called Parks and Recreation. Amy Poehler's character, Leslie Knope, first spoke Galentine's Day into existence. She debuted the holiday in an episode 12 years ago to celebrate her own female friends on Feb. 13, previously known as Valentine's Day eve.
