New Local Distillery Finder Now Available in New York

New York is filled with incredible breweries and distilleries.  Now, there's an app available that will help you find them.

One of the biggest challenges that a new business faces is getting the word out that it exists.  They might have an incredible product available, but if no one knows that it's there, they'll never sell it, and they'll never make any money.

The goal of this app is to help people find and fall in love with all of the distilleries that exist in New York State.

New Local Distillery Finder Now Available in New York

It's called the NY Distillery Trails App and it was created by the New York State Distillers Guild.  It's got some really cool features, too.  With the ap,p you can:

• Follow Curated Trails – They've got themed routes that you can follow to discover distilleries like “Long Island Adventure,” “Fun in the Finger Lakes and Central NY,” “Chill in the Catskills,” and “Wander Westchester.”
• Filter by Spirit Type – Are you more of a bourbon person?  Maybe you're a bigger fan of vodka or rum. This app lets users browse by category to find their favorite spirit.
• Plan and Share Trips – Create a custom itinerary, save favorites, and invite friends via text or social media.
• Seamless Purchasing – Direct-To-Customer shipping is now legal for spirits in New York.  So now you can order NY spirits straight to your door.

For now, it appears as though the app is only available on iOS devices.  But it will probably be available for all phones soon.
