One of the best things about playing for the Buffalo Bills is the fan base. The Bills Mafia are all about the Buffalo Bills and welcomes in new players with open arms.

Of course, there is the opposite, when a player leaves Buffalo it can be very hard on them. Bonds are built not only with teammates but with Bills Mafia. So saying good-bye can be rough.

Former Bills tight end Lee Smith penned a special Thank You letter to Bills Mafia after he was traded to the Atlanta Falcons last week.

As part of his Thank You letter, he gave a special thank you to the P.U.N.T foundation which works with Buffalo Bills players to help children who suffer from cancer. Smith was very active with the non-profit, helping with several different programs.

He was traded to the Atlanta Falcons for a 2022 7th round pick last week. He has one year left on his contract. He is expected to become a UFA next year.

Last season Smith caught 4 passes for 3 yards. The best part was two of those catches went for touchdowns.
