Gene Simmons Breaks Down at His Father’s Grave on ‘Family Jewels’ [VIDEO]

Gene Simmons wept openly as he visited the grave of his estranged father, Feri Witz, on Tuesday’s episode of ‘Gene Simmons Family Jewels.’ Although Simmons did offer financial support to his father, he had very little contact with him later in life.

Simmons broke down in tears as a letter from his deceased father was read graveside in Israel. In the letter, Witz complimented Simmons on his beautiful wife and family.

This proved all too much for Simmons, who sobbed as he heard his father’s words and appeared wracked with guilt.  “I was so stupid,” he said. “I don’t know why I didn’t go see him.”
