[WATCH] George Kittle Calls Out Josh Allen

Athletes are competitive, even over shoes. It's hilarious what can bother a player even years later. The San Francisco 49ers' George Kittle wants the Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen to know that this loss still bothers him after all these years. What's funny is it's not something that happened on the football field.

George and his wife, Claire, host The Kittle Things podcast and had Christian McCaffrey on as a guest. They talk about life, football, and also Kittle's loss to Josh Allen in a shoe design competition Nike held several years ago. Kittle says he came runner-up to Allen, who won the competition, and it's bothered him since. It's a funny story, which you can see here:

The question is, will Kittle actually call Josh? Will Josh respond? Probably not. You also won't be seeing Josh out in those Nikes anytime soon. He signed a multi-year deal with New Balance before this season and will likely only be repping them on the field and the streets. That's the life of a superstar quarterback with endorsement deals.

Kittle probably doesn't want to think about the last time his team, the 49ers, played Buffalo. It was a 35-10 tumping by the Bills over San Francisco. Maybe that's why he wants those shoes! I kid, of course, just like George.
