For the first time in 32 years, the Toronto Blue Jays will appear in the World Series. It was a game 7 for the ages as Toronto trailed Seattle 3-1 in the bottom of the 7th inning. There were two men on base for Springer, who sent a shot over the left field wall, causing fans to erupt inside the Rogers Centre. It was an all-time baseball moment. The Blue Jays will play the Los Angeles Dodgers, who will look to repeat as champions. No team has won back-to-back titles in 25 years.

This will also be baseball great Don Mattingly's first trip to the World Series. He is the bench coach for the Blue Jays.

Sadly, this preveneted Seattle form going to thier first world series. Both teams entered major league basell in the same year: 1977. The Jays have 2 World series titles; back to back wins in 1992 and 1993.

In 1993, Joe Carter hit a walk-off home run to win the Blue Jays their second straight World Series in one of the most iconic moments in baseball history.

The Blue Jays hope to get star player Bo Bichette back for the World Series. He missed the ALCS with a knee injury, but he says he will be ready to play.

The World Series begins this Friday at 8 pm ET in Toronto.
