The summer of 2021 is here and certainly is offering so many more great events that we missed last year! Now that COVID-19 restrictions have been eased back and more and more residents are getting vaccinated, things are starting to open up and we are starting to get back to enjoying the fairs festivals and concerts that we love. This includes local county fairs and the New York state fair!

The New York state Fair runs from August 20 through September 6 of 2021 in Syracuse New York.

With great rides, vendors, concerts and of course agriculture events, this year‘s New York State Fair looks to be one of the best yet. But if you are looking to get into the fair for free, there are a few ways and a few options on select days.

According to reports, those who are part of the military will be able to enjoy a day for free and seniors can also enjoy the fair every day free of charge! Indigenous people, firefighters and other emergency personnel will also have an opportunity to enjoy the fair in New York State at no cost.

If you have never been to the New York State Fair, I suggest you leave yourself a few days to check it out. It really has a lot to offer and to fully enjoy everything you may need some extra time.

For country fans, Russell Dickerson, LOCASH, The Oak Ridge boys and Jamey are Johnson are just a few of the names that will be among the lineup of some great stars at this year’s fair.
