Cake had thier biggest success in the late 90's with songs like "The Distance" and "Never There" but they continue to make great music with a new CD on the way. The new song is called "Sick of You." You can still see Cake's influence in some of today's new bands like OK Go and even though they have seen some changes in members, lead singer John McCrea's half-spoken, half-sung singing style and his goofy hats are the trademark of the band. They'll be releasing a new CD on January 11th. It's their 6th CD, but their first since 2004. Cake will be at Artpark on May 20th,  tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 17th at 10 am. You can get them at the Artpark Box Office, tickets.com, Tops or charge by phone at 888-223-6000. Watch the video for their new song "Sick of You" below. It's got a good groove, and check out "The Distance" live too.
