Halloween Jacktivities For The Weekend!

If you’re looking for something fun to get you into the Halloween spirit this weekend I have the perfect Jacktivities for you!

This weekend for the kids is one of my favorite events!  We have been going to it the last 3 years and I would say it’s a must for you this Fall season.  It’s the Buffalo Zoo’s 17^th Annual Howl-O-Ween Hayrides.  This event is great!  Get the kids all dressed up in their favorite Halloween costume and head out to do some trick or treating at the Buffalo Zoo!  Yeah that’s right – you get the chance to wander thru the zoo and not only check out some awesome animals like the Polar Bear Cubs Cali and Luna but you get to do some trick or treating too!  This event is especially great for the younger kids because it’s more friendlier than frightful event.  Howl-O-Ween Hayrides runs this weekend and next weekend from 4p to 7pm all four days.  Remember kids come in your favorite costumes because during the evening of fun they do have a costume parade!  Along with the trick or treating there is Halloween games for you to participate in, hayrides, and my favorite part apple cider and donuts in the reptile house!  Definitely a must for the Halloween season!

Now for the adults this Halloween Season!  Get into the Halloween spirit on the Niagara Wine Trail this weekend with the Hallowine Murder Mystery Weekend.  Celebrate Halloween with the Wine Trails annual murder mystery.  This year’s event is called Three Rings to the Wind – A Circus Murder!  (Ok if you don’t like clowns no worries just do what I do – Close your eyes and drink more wine.  You’ll be just fine!)  You can even come as yourself or pull out that super cool costume you’ve been saving just for an event like this!  You’ll spend the evening collecting clues and interviewing a different suspect character at each participating winery to solve the murder mystery!  If you guess the right suspect too you may even win a prize!  Tickets are good for all participating wineries today and tomorrow and even include a tasting of 3 wines and a commemorative wine glass at your starting winery.  It’s the Hallowine Murder Mystery Weekend at Niagara Wine Trail.
