However, we now know what to expect when arriving at the theme park this year when reopening does take place.

According to a video that Six Flags tweeted out on Tuesday, there are plenty of new guidelines and restrictions that people need to be aware of.

  • Reservations: Reservations must be made for a specific date in order to enter the park. This will limit the number of people in the park to maintain social distancing.
  • Taking Your Temperature: New, cutting-edge thermal energy technology will take the temperature of all guests and employees who enter the theme park.
  • Masks: All guests and employees must wear masks in the park. Masks will be available to purchase at the gate if a guest doesn't have one.

Also, new security measures will allow for touchless bag checks. Six Flags will also enforce social distancing during park rides with yellow indicators on where to stand.

Mobile food ordering and cashless transactions will be highly encouraged.
