This student-athlete is making waves on the internet for slamming down a dunk in her high school basketball game.

Women's basketball, let alone women's sports, has been growing fast in the United States. The WNBA, with the rise of star Caitlin Clark, has become a must-watch for many across the country. The PWHL (Professional Women's Hockey League) is the next evolution of women's pro hockey, which is fast-paced, skilled, and fun to watch. Even women's rugby has made a mark after the U.S. women won bronze in the Olympics last summer. Women's sports are finally on the rise, with female athletes getting more of the recognition they deserve.

That includes right here in Western New York.

Last night, Lancaster High School's Mattie Francis dunked, and it is going viral. The senior, who has scored over 2,000 points in her career, is set to play for Mississippi State next year, and you can see why. She's got ups.

Someone call SportsCenter and put her in the top 10! In fact, News 4 Buffalo's Josh Reed is trying to do just that, as he posted another angle of the dunk.

The rim is 10 feet high, in case you didn't know. That's a long way up. It's hard for anyone to dunk at that age, which makes her so impressive.

Please retweet this on X, and let's get her the attention she deserves.

We wish Madison nothing but the best in her future and look forward to what is to come for this incredible Western New York athlete!
