The hometown Buffalo Bills are well on their way to kicking off the 2026-27 NFL regular season in style. Construction at the new Highmark Stadium is complete, and fans now have had 3 chances to see the stadium in action with players on the field.

Over the last couple of weeks, Bills fans have seen the team win the very first professional football game at the stadium with a big 29-14 victory over the Carolina Panthers in the first preseason game. Before that, fans had their first look at the team's annual Return of the Blue & Red scrimmage.

Since only season ticket holders were able to attend the annual scrimmage, Bills head coach Joe Brady and other team officials wanted to make sure that more fans could get a look inside the new facility, and they hosted another free open practice for fans on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

With practice starting bright and early at 8:30 in the morning, more than 40,000 smiling football fans made their way to Orchard Park to watch the team get ready.

The team looked good on both sides of the ball, but you could tell that the defense was doing some extra work to be ready for the next preseason game against Cleveland and the regular season.

As good as the team looked on the field, the new Highmark Stadium looks even better. While people have thier share of complaints, I had the opportunity to explore the facility from the ground-level Charge Bar to the top of the 400 level, and the views are amazing from just about every angle.

Have you been to the stadium yet? What do you think about it?
