I know, today didn't go so well at New Era Field. The Bills lost to the now AFC-leading Baltimore Ravens, 24-17. They did have a chance to come back but a last-minute fourth-down pass went incomplete at the Ravens goal line.

But did you know that the rest of the NFL schedule went according to plan on Sunday?

Yup. The Bills to make the playoffs on Sunday needed the Houston Texans, Oakland Raiders and Indianapolis Colts ALL to lose and that's exactly what happened...the only problem was the Bills lost their game.

But if the Bills win ONE of their final three regular-season games, they're officially in the postseason -- regardless of what else happens.

The Bills final three games are:

  • December 15th: at the Pittsburgh Steelers (8:20 pm)
  • December 21st: at the New England Patriots (4:30 pm)
  • December 29th: home against the New York Jets (1:00 pm)

One more game would only guarantee a wildcard spot however...but they could still win the AFC East division since New England is still just one game ahead with their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs today.

The Pats are looking worse by the week too, so there's also that silver lining!

Go Bills!
