The sports world is thinking of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.

Just three drives into the first quarter, Hamlin tackled Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. Hamlin collapsed to the field after standing up and was immediately cared for by medical staffs for both teams.

Hamlin was administered CPR and according to the Bills, had his heartbeat restored before being transported by ambulance to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where Hamlin remains on Tuesday.

The Bills provided another update on Hamlin's condition on Tuesday afternoon.

He remains in critical condition and in the ICU at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Soon after the Bills provided the update on Hamlin, the NFL announced that the Bills-Bengals game would not resume this week. No later date for the game or future plans were announced, but there will be no changes to the week 18 games, which means as of now, the Bills are on to their week 18 game against the New England Patriots at Highmark Stadium.

We hope to have more positive information regarding Hamlin's status in the near future.
