The Buffalo Bills won their 10th game of the 2022 regular season on Sunday, defeating the New York Jets by a score of 20-12.

It wasn't a pretty game but the Jets do have a great defense and seem to be the kryptonite for the Bills offense, more so than any other team.

Buffalo now has a two-game lead in the AFC East. Second place is the Miami Dolphins, who lost in Sunday Night Football to the Los Angeles Chargers.

The NFL made sure they placed the Dolphins-Bills game in prime time, since it will be played on Saturday night on The NFL Network.

It looks like there's a good chance for that game to be played in a whole lot of snow.

There is now a consensus that a lake effect snow event is coming to Western New York and that it will hone in on the south towns of the Buffalo region, including Orchard Park.

Mike Cejka of WIVB shared two models that show a drastic difference in snowfall totals, but there may be a snow band which doesn't move much when it starts on Saturday.

Pat Hammer of WGRZ says the target zone is Orchard Park.

It's still too early to tell exactly what the snowfall totals will be and the exact target zone. However, it does appear we will get at least a considerable amount of snow for the south towns.

The Dolphins have not experience playing in the snow, especially Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who grew up in Hawaii and played college football at the University of Alabama; then drafted by the Miami Dolphins.

Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle grew up in Texas and played at Alabama as well, then drafted by Miami.

We may get a lot of snow though. As we know in Buffalo, a lake effect snow band can cause whiteout conditions and almost unplayable conditions. The 2017 December home game against the Indianapolis Colts comes to mind, which caused both offenses to exclusively run the ball.

The Bills had to deal with intense humidity in Miami back in September, which caused multiple Bills players to cramp up and leave the game.

The Bills look to get their payback on Saturday night, but it could also be more than we bargained for.
