If there’s one thing people from Buffalo love, it’s Buffalo itself.

And why not? Our food is outstanding. Our sports teams rule (this is the year, baby!). Our sense of community in the city of good neighbors is unlike any other place we’ve been. Buffalo is, through and through, a city we’re proud to call home.

But while we’re perfectly happy parking ourselves in the 716, we’re not ashamed to admit that every once in a while, we’re willing to venture out of Western New York to visit our nearby neighbors just over the border.

We’ve all waited in line over the Peace Bridge at one time or another to visit somewhere, buy something, or see something that you just can’t visit/buy/see in the good ol’ US of A.

And honestly, it’s one of the best parts about living in Buffalo.

Here are some of the main reasons why living so close to Canada is awesome.
