The Buffalo Zoo Is Welcoming A Brand New Pack This Summer
It's always great to see new animals at the Buffalo Zoo. This summer, they're going to have some that aren't exotic. You might even see some like this every day. But these ones are helping to contribute to wildlife conservation around New York and the rest of the world.
The Buffalo Zoo is welcoming a special dog show all summer
They call it The Canine Champions for Conservation Dog Show. It's presented by Five Star Bank, and it's coming back to the Buffalo Zoo this summer. This group of former rescue pups will be racing through obstacle courses, flying through the air, and performing what they call "jaw-dropping" stunts.
Along the way, they'll share some inspiring stories about animal abilities and the remarkable potential of rescue animals.
While many people think one of the biggest challenges of adopting a rescue dog is trying to train them, their goal is to prove that every animal deserves an opportunity to shine.
This year’s show features all-new tricks, bigger thrills, and exclusive performances you won’t see anywhere else. Along the way, guests will also learn how dogs contribute to wildlife conservation efforts in New York and around the world. - buffalozoo.org
When are the shows?
The shows will begin on Friday, June 12th, and run every day, except Tuesdays, throughout the summer. They will have one at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Even better, the shows are included with your regular Buffalo Zoo admission.
The zoo is open 7 days a week, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, last entry at 4:00 pm.
