This Is The Only Good Thing To Come Out Of Sunday’s Bills Game
Buffalo Bills fans braved through cold temperatures and an even colder loss on Sunday, but this sweet family moment warmed hearts throughout Highmark Stadium.
Stefon and Trevon, Peyton and Eli, J.J., T.J., and Derek - the NFL has been home to some epic sibling rivalries over the years, and on Sunday, NFL sibling history was made once again.
Before the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings matchup on Sunday afternoon, cameras caught Bills rookie running back James Cook and his brother, Vikings running back Dalvin Cook, posing with one another’s jerseys before they set to play against each other for the first time in their professional careers.
The Cook brothers, raised by their grandmother in Miami, Florida, have long been supportive of each other throughout their perspective careers.
Pro Bowler Dalvin Cook has been a star on the Vikings for six years now, and now his younger brother James is looking to make his mark on the Bills.
A second-round pick in the 2022 draft, James is starting out slow and steady for the Bills. Averaging just over five yards per carry so far this year, he’ll hopefully see more opportunities to showcase his skills like his older brother.
Although Sunday’s loss left a bittersweet taste in the mouths of Bills fans, at least something good came out of it, thanks to this heartwarming moment between two talented brothers.
