Entertainment Schedule Is Top Notch At This Year’s Erie County Fair

Unless you've been living under a rock, you have to agree that this has been one of the best summer seasons we've had in the Empire State in a long time. From great summer weather to all sorts of events that happen in summer, this year is sure to go down in the record books. Now that August has arrived, that puts us in prime fair territory, and there are going to be all sorts of fairs happening all over the state.

From the Great New York State Fair to county fairs all over New York, the time for rides, fried dough, and amazing family fun is here. One of the most anticipated fairs in New York is upon us, and it's back for its 185th year.

Founded by the Erie County Agricultural Society, a self-sustaining not-for-profit membership corporation, The Erie County Fair was created in 1820 to highlight, preserve, and enhance the agricultural and historical legacy of New York State through various educational endeavors. The Erie County Fairgrounds, which sits on more than 275 acres of land in Hamburg, NY, has more than 110 permanent buildings and serves as a hub for various events and activities in Western New York.

The 2025 Erie County Fair will run from Wednesday, August 6, 2025, through August 17, 2025, marking the 185th year of the fair in Western New York.

This Years Erie County Fair Attractions Are Exciting

Like other fairs across the state, the Erie County Fair will have all the favorite attractions that we have come to love about it, from the 4-H, FFA & Youth Livestock Auction to the rides. But, one of the key things that separates the Erie County Fair from other fairs across the country is the News Channel 4 WIVB-TV Concert Series that brings great performers to the Buffalo News Grandstand.

In previous years, the concert has hosted great performers like Flo Rida, Nelly, Travis Tritt, and more. This year's schedule is just as exciting.
