[NSFW] Goo Goo Dolls Talk About Being Home in Buffalo in Epic Concert

The Goo Goo Dolls took over the Town Ballroom to play two back-to-back concerts at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo, New York and it was super hard to secure a ticket to the show.

There were about 1000 tickets sold for a show on Thursday night and when that sold out in less than 2 minutes, they added a second show the night before, on Wednesday. The concerts were held in order to raise money for FeedMore Western New York, who feeds hundreds of thousands of people in the area.

In fact, the Goo Goo Dolls, pointed out how many donation bins were around Western New York.

There are not too many major, popular bands that are active that started out in high school like the Goo Goo Dolls have.

It is amazing how we have this Grammy-nominated band and they are right here from Western New York. Sometimes it feels like we take them for granted being and living sometimes right here in the Queen City. Johnny does not live here full time anymore, but Robby lives most of the time in Western New York. The Goos told the stories of them living in an apartment in Buffalo and how they would keep a baby pool in the living room on Norwood and they even wrote the song 'Name' on their couch in Buffalo.
