Every Bills fan knows this weekend's game is a big one.  But it could be even more important for Josh Allen.

The Buffalo Bills are taking on the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Highmark Stadium.  The last time those two teams met there, it was in the playoffs when the Chiefs knocked the Bills out before going on to win the Super Bowl.

We all know the Bills' history with this team.  Over the last couple of years, the Bills have done well against the Chiefs in the regular season.  The problem comes in the postseason.  We've all heard someone say that the Bills need to get past them when it matters.

This one matters. This game could determine who wins the #1 seed in the AFC and who gets home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

There's also a major record that could be smashed along the way whether the Bills win or lose.  The Bills franchise record for the total number of touchdowns scored is within reach for Josh Allen.  He needs just three more touchdowns (passing or rushing) to tie Jim Kelly and four more to own it by himself.  Hopefully, he can do that within the next couple of games.

It would be incredibly impressive for him to get it done this early.  Kelly was credited for 244 touchdowns during his time with the Bills.  Most of his were passing touchdowns (237 passing + 7 rushing).  Meanwhile, Allen is already at 241 total touchdowns (184 passing + 57 rushing).  Kelly had 11 seasons to amass that number.  Allen has gotten to his in just 7 (and still has some more to go!).

I can't imagine it's a record that Kelly would be upset to see get smashed, especially if it means that it was Allen who smashed it and the Bills are winning.  It will be hard to do against a tough Kansas City defense.

The Bills square off against the Chiefs in a standalone nationally televised game this Sunday at 4:25 pm at Highmark Stadium.

That's all. Enjoy.
