Buffalo Restaurant Expanding to Clarence With Larger Location
There are quite a few local restaurants in Buffalo that offer up distinct restaurant setups.
What I mean by that is that they offer up standard foods but prepare them in a way that sets them apart, along with a business model that makes them stand out to customers.
For chicken wings, you have Bar-Bill Tavern, Elmos, Nine-Eleven Tavern, Wingnutz and Gabriel's Gate. Beef on weck is Charlie the Butcher, Bar-Bill, Kelly's Korner, etc.

As far as burgers go, one of the gold standards is Mister Sizzle's on Buffalo's west side.
Mister Sizzle's opened in the spring of 2021 and their burger creations, alcohol and boozy milkshake setup won over Buffalonians instantly. They quickly became one of the best burger places in town, similar to what happened to Wingnutz in the wing department. It shows that even if you're new, Buffalonians will put you in great company if you serve up amazing food.
The popularity of Mister Sizzle's became so great that they are now opening a second locations in the suburbs and this location will be much larger.
Buffalo Business First reports that Mister Sizzle's will open their Clarence location at 6409 Transit Road later this year, and that it's 4,000 square feet. That's 2,500 square feet larger than their Connecticut Street location.
What's even cooler is that they plan on making the building (which used to be a bank) more homey and true to their décor. They will convert the bank vault to a liquor storage room and create patio seating where the bank drive-thru used to be.
Hopefully, this means that Mister Sizzle's will eventually open a south towns location, because I know that Orchard Park, West Seneca and Hamburg would love for a location to be close.
