Rasmus Dahlin’s Buffalo Pizza and Wings Order Goes Viral
The Buffalo Sabres are finally back in action tonight at KeyBank Center. They host the Chicago Blackhawks at 7 pm.
This game was originally scheduled for yesterday at 7:30 pm, but due to the travel ban and the lake effect snow band working its way back to the City of Buffalo last night, the NHL moved the game to tonight.
The Sabres' playoff chances are slipping away. They currently sit 7 points back of the final wild card spot (Tampa Bay Lightning) and we're past the halfway point of the season.
The Sabres have to win games now, because if they sit this far back by the start of February, the chances of coming back that far behind are slim.
This Sabres team is likable for fans, though. They're young, skilled and easy to root for. They also love supporting the Buffalo Bills.
For this past Monday's wild card playoff game vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers, the entire Sabres team watched the game together, with Dahlin picking up the tab on wings and pizza for the team. His pickup order made it onto TikTok and is getting a lot of attention from fans.

- Six large cheese pizzas
- Six large pepperoni pizzas
- Three large Hawaiian pizzas
- One bucket of mild wings
- Two buckets of medium wings
- One bucket of BBQ wings
Hawaiian pizza was invented in Canada, so it's no surprise that it's popular with a hockey team.
This appears to be a good mix of everything. Pretty sure that is the point of the order -- to make sure that that everyone has something they prefer.
The extra medium wings is a classic Buffalonian move.
