Bills' head coach Joe Brady gave an update on wide receiver Tyrell Shavers today that Bills Mafia is going to love.

Tyrell Shavers is coming back soon!

Yesterday, Bills' wide receiver Tyrell Shavers' agent put a tweet out that made Bills Mafia get excited. It was a picture of Shavers running through an end zone with his hands over his face. The picture was accompanied by the sunglasses smiling emoji.

Bills fans immediately jumped to the thought that he could be coming back soon.

Today, the Bills confirmed, Shavers is coming back

You may remember that Shavers has been on IR and PUP since suffering a season ending ACL tear during the playoff game in Jacksonville last year. It was an injury that he got in the second quarter of that game, but he still finished the game!

Before that injury, he was really picking up steam. Fans were really starting to get excited about what he could do on this team. This year, we're going to get a chance to hopefully see that play out.

Shavers will have his 21-day window open

Coming back from a huge injury like that isn't always easy. It's something that takes time. In the NFL, they say they're opening their 21-day window. It's a period of practice where someone who is returning from IR or the PUP list can join the team without counting against the active 53-man roster. He will not be able to be activated for a game until they actually put him on the active roster, but he can join the team at practice again.

If the team feels that he's not ready to be activated to the 53-man roster at the end of the 21 days, they can release him, trade him, or put him back on IR for the remainder of the season.
