Attention shoppers, make sure you are ready for a large crowd at the store over the next couple of days. New York State stores are about to be packed with people and it is for a variety of reasons.

The busy Easter weekend is here and the crowds were already in stores on Thursday afternoon. We saw a full parking lot at a Wegmans store in Western New York and inside the store were long lines. To make it more interesting, some stores are only allowing 20 items or less in the self checkout line.

But the Easter ham and egg shoppers are not the only people you will see this weekend and over the next 10 days. The total solar eclipse is coming on April 8th and there are some estimates that indicate over a million additional people will be in the area.

If you go to Wegmans, there are some things to keep in mind.

While waiting for my wife to finish shopping this week, I couldn't help but notice a sign hanging in the parking lot. I have parked at a store thousands of times and never really looked at the words on the signs that are hanging in the lot or on the poles around the store. Turns out, there are some rules that are in place that many of us didn't know were a thing.
