6 Winter Activities Kids Can Do At Buffalo’s Waterfront

It has not felt very wintery yet in Western New York.  However, if you're looking for some fun activities for your kids to do this winter, there are a bunch at the Waterfront.

To be fair, winter doesn't technically start until December 21st.  However, if you're looking forward to winter coming sooner than later, the weather is starting to look a little more wintery this weekend.  With snow and wind in the forecast, it could shape up to be a perfect weekend to check out all that they have planned at The Buffalo Waterfront (formerly known as Canalside) downtown.

Opening weekend for The Ice at Canalside was last weekend.  Unfortunately they had some rainy weather to contend with and they weren't able to do all of the opening weekend things they had plan.  However, they were still able to get some skaters in to enjoy the ice and they're planning to move those extra activities to this weekend.

If you're looking for things to do with your kids this winter, the Buffalo Waterfront has a ton of stuff that they can do.  It's a perfect plan to bundle them up and get them outside to take advantage of all the fun that winter has to offer.

Starting on Sunday they will hold what they call "Kids Club Sundays" from 11am until 2pm and they have a ton of activities planned.  In addition to public skating, curling, and bumper cars, they'll have some stuff that is planned just for the kiddos.
