Wrong Turn At Peace Bridge Gets Another Man Arrested In Buffalo
It doesn't matter what local government officials do; bad guys make the same mistake when driving around on Buffalo's west side.
It was just a few days ago that one Buffalo man, who was driving a stolen car, made a wrong turn and ended up on an international bridge to Canada. Of course, when he realized his mistake, he tried to turn around and come back to the United States. When he was questioned by US Customs and Border Protection Officers, things pretty much went downhill for him.

Well, it looks like he's going to have come company in the lockup as another man seemed to have done the same thing, except this guy had a car full of weapons and magazines.
This time, a 36-year-old West Virginia man found himself on the Peace Bridge. According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials, the man accidentally turned onto the Peace Bridge and was headed to Canada by mistake. When he turned around to reenter the United States, he did not have proper identification.
After further inspection, he would found to illegally have an AR-15, an 9mm handgun, and multiple magazines. After officers checked his record, he would have previous convictions that legally prevented him from owning a gun.
The man was then turned over to the Buffalo Police Department, where he was charged with multiple felonies.

Clearly, something is happening near the Peace Bridge because this isn't the first time a wrong turn near the Peace Bridge has gotten someone into trouble. It seems to keep happening over and over and over and over and over again.
You should beware the next time you drive near I-190 or along Porter Avenue and make sure you're in the right lane.
