Police and officials have been warning New Yorkers to stock up on groceries leading up to the eclipse. Not only are there more people in the state to be able to see the total solar eclipse, but 46 Wegmans stores will be closed for part of the eclipse.

The Following Stores Will Close During The Eclipse In New York

According to Wegmans, the following stores will close in New York during the solar eclipse.

Wegmans will close 48 of its stores in New York and Pennsylvania from 3 to 3:30 pm. Wegmans regional manager Patrick Bourcy said,

“The opportunity to experience a total solar eclipse comes once in a lifetime, and we don’t want our employees to miss out. We appreciate all that our employees do to help our customers prepare for and enjoy events like this, and in return, we welcome the opportunity to make this a celebratory and memorable occasion for them.”
