An Amherst building that was damaged in a 2021 fire has been sold and will soon find a new life as a warehouse/flex space facility.

According to May 1 filings in the Erie County Clerk’s office,iInvestors 120 Earhart Drive LLC paid $1,025,000 for a 46,285-square-foot building at 120 Earhart Dr. in the Amherst Inducon Office Park. The building had been owned by TechFrys Corp., according to county clerk’s information.

Built in 1985, the building was damaged in an August 2021 fire had been largely vacant since then.

Plans call for the building to be renovated into a warehouse and flex light manufacturing space.

In another real estate deal that closed on May 1:

• Investor Ron Alsheimer, through his Plaza Group 456 LLC affiliate, sold a 5,760-square-foot multi-tenant building at 650 Orchard Park Rd., West Seneca to the 650 Orchard Park LLC investment group.

The site was approved last year for the Devil’s Lettuce, recreational cannabis dispensary. Devil’s Lettuce opened earlier this year.
