Famous Auto Part Retailer Opens Store In Western New York

Automotive repair and auto parts are big business. Very big business.

So much so that the 2023 Automotive Parts and Components Market Analysis survey expects the auto parts market to increase significantly over the next seven years, estimates expect the market to be valued at more than $2.3 trillion by 2028. The auto parts market, like many others, has recovered nicely since the economic lows that came from the COVID-19 pandemic.

It makes sense why this is the case, as used car values continue to rise and people are keeping their current cars longer than ever before—the need to acquire parts to repair your older car increases alongside it.

That is true for many people in Western New York, including me. One of the cars that I own is 15 years old, and over the last few years, I have made countless trips to the auto parts store.

Buffalo and Western New York have a nice variety of auto parts retailers, all of which carry different types of parts from other manufacturers. It's pretty easy to find an Auto Zone, NAPA, Pep Boys, Advance, or CarQuest. That's in addition to all of the used parts locations like 2060 Auto Parts, M&M U-Pull It, or Wilberts.

Even with all of these options, the is one store that I have wondered for years why there isn't one in Western New York.

O'Reilly Auto Parts Enters Buffalo Market

We've all heard their jingle on the radio and on TV, but no matter where you look, you couldn't find this part retailer anywhere near Buffalo. That is until now.

Imagine my surprise when I was driving down Sheridan Drive, near Niagara Falls Blvd and Eggert Road, when clear as day, I saw it: an O'Reilly Auto Parts. A quick look at the O'Reilly website shows that there are going to be two locations in Western New York: one on Sheridan and one on Bailey Ave.
