Several Million Dollar Properties Sell in Western New York

A quintet of northern Erie County suburban properties - all selling for more than $1 million - have landed new owners.

The deals include a busy Burger King outlet in the Getzville hamlet of Amherst and private residences in Eggertsville - another Amherst hamlet - and Grand Island.
All closed on May 2, according to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk's office.

The deals are:
• A multi-tenant, 17,000-square-foot building at 6700 Main St., just east of Transit Road in Amherst, was acquired by Limestone Services Center LLC, who paid $2,020,000.
The building had been owned by the Shatkin Land Development Co. LLC.

• The Burger King at 2515 Millersport Highway was sold for $1,924,250 to the Freedman Family Trust 101299, who bought the 3,220-square-foot restaurant from DW Diamond Bar LLC.

Burger King opened the franchised site in 1975.

• Clarence-headquarted The Green Organization paid $1.55 million for the former Arbordale Nursery site at 480 Dodge Rd. In Amherst.

Arbordale, last year, relocated to a new location at 11390 Transit Rd. In East Amherst.
Greens on Doge II LLC, who officially bought the property from Arbordale Nursery Inc., plan on demolishing the building and developing an apartment complex that will neighbor its two-year-old Greens on Dodge apartment complex.

• Summt Maunder paid $1.2 million for a three-bedroom, 2,202-square-foot house at 3012 Staley Rd., Grand Island. The house had been owned by James and Sheryl Montanmi.

ª John and Jenna Symons acquired a five-bedroom, 6,732-square-foot house at 99 LeBrun Circle in Amherst’s Eggertsville neighborhood, buying it from Richard and Ellen Chou.
