National oil change and car wash chain - Take 5 Oil Change - is prepping to add more Buffalo Niagara area locations.

Take 5, through its Quattro Elmwood LLC affiliate, paid $709,000 for a vacant 2.8-acre parcel at 1941 Elmwood Ave., according to documents filed May 8 in the Erie County Clerk's Office.

The property had been owned by 1238 Group LLC, an affiliate of Ellicott Development.
The Buffalo site is one of the Oak Brook, Ill.-based chain has planned for the Buffalo Niagara regions. Others are proposed for the Tonawanda and West Seneca.

Take 5 Oil Change local sites include one of Transit Road in Depew.

According to documents filed with the Buffalo planning and building department indicate the new site will house a 1,735-square-foot building.
