Winter is back here in New York and the snow is returning as well.

Most of New York State enjoyed a mini-spring last week with temperatures well above average but all that will change this week as several cold fronts are set to move across the state. These storms are bringing cold and snow with them.

The biggest area in New York State to be affected by this round of winter weather will be Central New York. Binghamton and Albany and areas around these cities will have the best chance of some significant snowfall over the next 24-48 hours.

The areas south of the I-90 are expected to get the brunt of the snow with some places getting over a foot of snow. Down in New York City, you could see a couple of inches over the next couple of days, while in Western New York it will be cold with a chance of some light snow.
