Western New York is set to get a taste of the Midwest when a very popular burger spot out there will open their first location here in Western New York. According to several social media posts, Culver's is set to open their first New York location here in the 716.

Culver's Set To Open In Lancaster, New York

Opened back in 194 in Wisconsin, Culver's is known for their butter burgers and currently has over 1000 locations, mainly in the Midwest.

When I lived in Evansville, Indiana, we had a Culver's in town, and I will say it was one of the best burgers I ever had. They add some butter to the top of the burger bun, and that helps bring that buttery flavor to every bite.

Culver's is set to open in the old Rite-Aid location in Lancaster soon.

Culver's isn't the only new franchise set to open in Western New York. Angie's announced they plan on opening a new location, their first, this year in Western New York. They are expected to open in the old Boston Market store on Maple Road in Amherst.

Angie's is known for offering good eats at lower prices. They own the supply chain, so there are no "middlemen" markups. They also have smaller locations with fewer employees, and customers order and pay on their own using kiosks. Customers also pick up their own food and even wipe down their own open tables inside the store.
