$50,000 Mega Millions Winner In New York State

The last Mega Millions drawing of September was a lucky one for one lottery player in New York State. The New York State Lottery announced that there was one "Big Money" winning ticket sold in New York from Tuesday's drawing.

There was one 3rd-place winning Mega Millions ticket sold in New York State from Tuesday's drawing. That ticket matched four out of five numbers and had the Mega Ball. That ticket won $50,000.

There were also 19 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Mega Ball. Those tickets won between $1000 and $5000 each based on the ticket's built-in Megaplier.

There were also 56 5th-place winners in New York from last night's drawing. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Mega Ball. Those tickets won between $400 and $2000 each based on each ticket's built-in Megaplier.

Here were last night's winning Mega Millions numbers: 4-8-27-37-63 with a Mega Ball number of 14.

Did Anyone Win The Mega Millions Grand Prize Jackpot?

There was no grand prize winner from last night's Mega Millions drawing. There was one 2nd-place $2 million dollar winning ticket sold in California, but no one matched all five numbers and had the Mega Ball.

Since no one won the grand prize, the jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing is now up to $520 Million Dollars which would be a record-setting jackpot in New York State.
