A fast-moving winter weather front will bring plenty of snow to parts of New York State on Sunday and into Monday.

The National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Warnings for several regions of New York State.

The storm is expected to move in late Saturday afternoon and bring several inches of snow and windy conditions through Saturday night through Monday morning.

EXTRA: TOP SNOWIEST DAYS IN NEW YORK HISTORY

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Southern Erie, Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus counties from late Saturday night through Monday morning. Travel could be impacted by blowing snow reducing visibility along the roads. Between 5 and 8 inches of snow is possible.



There could be between 5 to 10 inches of snow over a 24-hour period and with wind gusts up to 45 miles per hour, travel could be impacted.

Down near Albany and New York City, rain will be the biggest issue with nuisance flooding in poor drainage areas Saturday night possible. The majority of downstate will deal with rain on Sunday through Monday.
