Here's everything we know about Look Outside Your Window, the long-awaited album recorded by four of Slipknot's members, which will finally be released on April 18 as a self-titled album (meaning it's not a Slipknot album).

Slipknot fans have been hearing about Look Outside Your Window for years now. Recorded by Shawn "Clown" Crahan, Corey Taylor, Jim Root and Sid Wilson while Slipknot were working on All Hope Is Gone, the set of songs was supposed to be released numerous times over the years but was delayed each time for different reasons.

A couple of the songs that were written during the studio sessions for Look Outside Your Window were featured on other releases, such as a special edition of All Hope Is Gone and later We Are Not Your Kind (2019).

The members have been pretty adamant about the album not sounding like Slipknot, describing the vibe as more of an experimental rock album with some Radiohead flavors. They're not calling it a Slipknot album for that reason — they know how people on the internet can be when music doesn't live up to the idea they had of it in their heads.
