Former Buffalo Sabre Jack Eichel Booed By Fans

It is going to be a very interesting night at KeyBank Center for the Buffalo Sabres and Sabres fans. The Buffalo Sabres will be honoring their own forward Tage Thompson before the game tonight, and I am sure fans will rock the roof off KeyBank Center, but what about the other Team USA players that are also in Buffalo?

Will Buffalo Sabres Fans Boo Jack Eichel?

Eichel was once the sweetheart of Buffalo when the Sabres drafted him #2 overall in the 2015 NHL draft. We were supposed to be the players who helped end the Sabres' playoff drought and bring a Cup to Western New York.

Well..that didn't happen. He was injured, and he and the Sabres butted heads on how he was going to be treated, and he ended up asking to be traded, which the Sabres did to the Las Vegas Golden Knights. He ended up winning a Stanley Cup there, which in turn made him into a villain here in Buffalo.

So the big question is whether or not Buffalo Sabre fans will boo their former captain. Tage Thompson said he is going to include Eichle and Noah Hanifin from Vegas in his Team USA celebration at KeyBank Center.

So do you think Buffalo Sabres fans will cheer or boo Eichel when he comes out with Thompson and Hanifin to celebrate Team USA?
