James Cook Bringing Youth Football Camp To Rochester
There has been a whole lot of activity in Billsland over the last few weeks. The NFL off-season has had several ups and downs for members of the Buffalo Bills. While there is still some uncertainty to come from One Bills Drive on the business side of the team, it's good to see that some members of the team are making good use of their free time.
It was earlier this week when we heard about a youth football camp that Bills star tight end Dalton Kincaid is hosting in Buffalo, and now we're hearing about another Bills star who is hosting a camp in Rochester.
James Cook Youth Football Camp Is Happening This Summer In Rochester
James Cook, the Bills' second-round draft pick from 2022, has turned out to be a great addition to the team. This past season, he gained more than 1,600 yards from scrimmage on his way to scoring six touchdowns. Cook is also the first Buffalo Bills player to have rushed for more than 1,000 yards in a season since Shady McCoy did it in 2017.
It goes without saying that his skills on the football field are top-notch; now he's taking some time to teach some of those skills to youth football players in Western New York when he hosts the James Cook Youth Football Camp.
The camp will take place at Bishop Kearney High School in Rochester, New York, on Monday, July 8, 2024. It will run from 1 pm to 5 pm and is open to youth between the ages of 6 and 16. Kids can expect valuable football knowledge and hands-on instruction during the camp in a fun, high-energy, positive environment.
Cook, in partnership with several other coaches and instructors, will be on hand to provide lectures, fundamental skill stations, awards, and all sorts of other great things, like contests and several take-home items.
You can find more details about the camp here on the James Cook Youth Football Camp website.
